I am going to enjoy your blog. I spin too. Working on some old, dry fleece at present, found a little lavender oil on my fingers made a big difference.

So sorry to hear about your dear Mum, it seems like her last days were not so bad if she thought she was well enough to go home.
Nothing I can say , just hope you and your family can weather this sad time together.
You could plant a Gardenia near the house in memory of your Mum and the perfume will waft in the windows and keep you company while you knit.
