It is called costachondritis. Inflamation of the bits between the rib sections. It is a viral thing like a cold. It takes 10-12 days to go away. This is day 6. Enough already. No cause to whine I can still knit!
Ten days to go away, hahaha. Well, I hope yours does. What the doctor probably didn't tell you is that a glass of wine relieves it a quite a lot. Only in the evenings, of course; you just have to suffer it during the day unless you can take anti-inflammatories, although I never find they make much difference. But the glass of wine does :)
Ahhhh, me thinks you are suggestion this maybe around for a while longer. Hmmmm. Memo to self..."stop off at the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) on the way home tonight"
Another thing we have in common! I have this all the time. It's part of my disease. It's what wakes me at night and forces me to sleep upright. P's me off at times! Glad you will get over yours soon. (I don't let it stop me knitting either.)

Wow. My rule of thumb is the longer the name of your problem, the more you get to whine and complain. I figure your good for another week at least.

I will indeed be fortunate if this does clear up. Achey breaky ribs...that's me
