The "Mamas and the Papas" for those of you too young to know were a group in the heady days of my youth. They originated in the Maritimes. Denny Doherty passed away this year and although many people didn't know he was a "Papa" he was more notable to my children as the Harbour Master for Theodore Tugboat.
Their music was very "sing-a-long" "feel good," "Californian Dreaming" was their only #1 Hit. Mama Cass had a heart attack in 1974. Her voice was so pure and clear. Dream A Little Dream of Me is one of my all time faves..Oh Oh and Words of Love..... Sigh
Monday should be the best day of the week. It a beginning that we have not had a chance to screw up. ..yet.
